University of Ibadan (UI) Admission Policy for Undergraduate

Prospective applicants seeking admission into the University of Ibadan (UI) are expected to be abreast with the Policy which governs admission processes in the University of Ibadan (UI) at the undergraduate level. This policy is intended to streamline the admission process.

Age Benchmark

Prospective candidate seeking admission in the University of Ibadan must have clocked 16 years by 1st of October of the admission year.

Note: Applicants should be aware that this the University of Ibadan will not waive this requirement.

Non-Matriculating Subjects

Subjects offered at the school certificate examinations are not accepted as matriculating subjects by the University Senate. The list of such Subject are contained here.

Courses Not Offered In The University

Candidates are enjoined to note that the University of Ibadan does not offer some courses.  These courses include (but not limited to): International Relations, Accounting, Marketing, Public Administration, Business Studies/Administration, Computer Engineering and Chemical Engineering.
