The management of the Federal University of Petroleum Resource Effurun (FUPRE) has released the current academic session academic calendar.

According to the calendar, the resumption date of Returning students is Sunday 12th  while Fresh Students is Sunday 26th. Clearance/Registration for Fresh Students commence Monday 27th – Friday 8th . More details are contained below.

Monday, 20th	1st Semester Lectures Begin for Returning Students
Sunday 26th	Fresh Students come into residence
Monday 27th – Friday 8th	Clearance/Registration for Fresh Students
Wednesday 6th – Friday 8th	Orientation Programme for Fresh Students
Monday 11th	1st Semester Lectures begin for Fresh Students
Monday 11th – Friday	Late Registration for Returning Students
Friday 22nd – Friday 5th	Christmas Break (For Students only)
Sunday 7th	Returning/Fresh Students come into Residence
Monday 8th	Commencement of Lectures
Monday 8th – Wednesday	Late Registration for Fresh Students
Wednesday 17th	Matriculation of Fresh Students
Friday 9th	End of 1st Semester Lectures
Monday 12th – Friday 16th	Revision for all Student
Monday 19th – Friday 6th	1st Semester Examinations
Saturday 7th – Friday 13th	1st Semester Break
Monday 7th – Friday 11th	College Boards meet to consider Results
Wednesday 30th May –  8th	Senate meets to consider Results
SECOND SEMESTER
Sunday 15th	Resumption for 2nd Semester
Monday 16th	2nd Semester Lectures Begin
Friday 13th	End of Second Semester Lectures
Monday 16th – Friday 20th	Revision for all Students
Monday 23rd July – Friday 10th	2nd Semester Examinations
Saturday 11th	End of Session Break for students
Monday 3rd – Friday 7th	College Boards meet to consider Results
Wednesday 26th – Friday 5th	Senate meets to consider Results
