MOUAU Part-Time Admission Requirements

S/N PROGRAMME O’LEVEL SUBJECT REQUIREMENT SPECIAL CONSIDERATION WAIVER REQUIREMENT
 1 B. Agric. Agricultural Economics, Rural Sociology and Extension, Agronomy, Soil Science and Metrology Five O’ level Credit passes in not more than two sittings to include English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology/ Agric. Science and any other Science subject A credit in Agric. Science must be backed up with at least a pass in Biology
 2 Computer Science Five O’ level credit passes in not more than two sittings to include English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and any other relevant science subject
 3 Agribusiness and Management Five O’level credit passes in not more than two sittings to include English Language, Mathematics, Economics, Biology or Agricultural Science and any other relevant subject. A credit in Agric. Science must be backed up with at least a pass in Biology
4 COLMAS

Accountancy, Banking & Finance, Economics, Business Administration

English, Mathematics, Economics and any other two subjects from Government/History, Commerce, Principles of Account, Geography, Christian Religious Knowledge, Agriculture/Biology Science, English Literature, Igbo/Hausa/Yoruba
5 Education course

Chemistry Education,

Physics Education,

Mathematics Education,

Five O’ level credit passes in not more than two sittings to include English Language, Mathematics, Biology or Agricultural Science, Chemistry and any other relevant subject A credit in Agric. Science must be backed up with at least a pass in Biology
6 Biology Education Five O’level credit passes in not more than two sittings to include English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and Physics
 7 Integrated Science Education Five O’level credit passes in not more than two sittings to include English Language, Biology, Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics
 8 Agriculture Education Five O’level credit passes in not more than two sittings to include English Language, Mathematics, Biology/Agricultural Science, Chemistry and any relevant subject A credit in Agric. Science must be backed up with at least a pass in Biology
 9 Computer Science Education Five O’ level credit passes in not more than two sittings to include English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and any other relevant subject
 10 Home Economics Education Five O’level credit passes in not more than two sittings to include English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology/Agricultural Science and any of Physics, Clothing & Textile, Food and Nutrition, Home Management A credit in Agric. Science must be backed up with at least a pass in Biology

MOUAU Direct Entry Admission

Direct entry admission is based on a combination of O’Level results in addition to possession of at least two A-Level passes or NCE,OND OR HND in the following areas of study; Agricultural Sciences, Sciences, Science Education, Geography, Forestry, Fisheries, Building Technology, Environmental Health, Surveying, Architecture, Estate Management, Quantity Surveying, Urban and Regional Planning, etc.

DURATION OF PROGRAMMES

Programmes in 1, 2, & 3 above.

A minimum of six (6) years for candidates with:
Ordinary Level Certificate
OND/ND at Lower Credit level
NCE at Merit/Credit levels
A minimum of five (5) years for candidates with
OND/ND at Upper Credit level
NCE at Distinction level
HND at Lower Credit Level
A minimum of four (4) years for candidates with HND at Upper Credit level.

Duration of programmes in items 4 & 5 above.

A minimum of five (5) years for candidates with O’Level qualifications.
A minimum of four (4) years for candidates with OND at Upper Credit Level and HND, at Lower Credit in relevant areas, obtained from recognized institutions.
A minimum of three (3) years for candidates with HND at Upper Credit Level, and B.Sc. in related areas.

MOUAU Part-Time Admission – How to Apply

  1. Prospective candidates should pay the sum of N 5,000 being cost of Admission form into CEC Account Number 001320005 with the University Micro Finance Bank.
  2. Such candidates should then visit the University web portal www.mouauportal.edu.ng,
  3. Click on the CEC application Portal and follow the procedure for completing the on-line application form.
