The London Business School is welcoming applications for the BK Birla Scholars Program for the 2024 academic year.

Former student of London Business School (LBS), Kumar Mangalam Birla, has bestowed a £15 million endowed scholarship award program to support the education of 10 full-time MBA applicants every year in perpetuity. This gift denotes the biggest ever endowed scholarship award gift to a European Business School, with the first cycle commencing in Autumn 2019.

Applicants qualified for the BK Birla Scholars Program will characterize the most diverse minds with five of the scholarship award beneficiaries from India and five from the rest of the world. BK Birla Scholars will be among the most remarkable talent across the School’s full-time MBA program, and will personify academic excellence and high leadership prospect. The top 5% of the class will be qualified for the award and it will represent the mark of highest merit among candidates.

Eligibility Criteria for BK Birla Scholars Program

Candidates should satisfy the following admission conditions:

  • An undergraduate degree or equivalent qualification
  • At least two years of work experience (candidates without prior work experience can be given consideration for admission to the MBA Program conditional on their ability to display exceptional academic credentials with exceptional performance, but should consider their Masters in Management program.)
  • The capacity to work in multicultural teams and a global outlook

Note: If you are granted an offer of admission at London Business School and you are not from the European Economic Area (EEA) or Switzerland, you will be required to apply for a Tier 4 student visa within 3 months before the commencement of the program.

To submit application for the BK Birla Scholars Program, the following credentials are needed;

  • GMAT/GRE score
