PTDF Undergraduate Scholarship Scheme 2024

PTDF Undergraduate Scholarship Scheme is currently open for application from eligible applicants for the 2024 academic session.

PTDF Undergraduate Scholarship Scheme is borne out of the sole mandate of developing, promoting petroleum technology and for creating the human resource needs of the oil and gas industry through research and training of Nigerians.

PTDF Undergraduate Scholarship Scheme

The aim of the scholarship scheme is anchored on building of capacities and capabilities in Nigeria’s Oil and Gas industry through the development of human capacities, institutional capacity development as well as the promotion of research and acquisition of relevant technologies.

Duration of Scholarship:

The  Scholarship is renewed annually until completion of undergraduate programme.

Value/Worth of Scholarship/Inclusions:

N250, 000 + Laptop (to be given at first payment only)

Eligibility Criteria to apply for PTDF Undergraduate Scholarship

To apply for the PTDF Scholarship scheme, prospective candidates must meet up with the following criteria:

• Candidates must be a Nigerian in any of the PTDF upgraded Federal University listed below.
• Applicants must poses a minimum of 5 credits in WAEC/SSCE/NECO including English Language and     Mathematics
• Candidates must have concluded the 1st year of their study in any of the PTDF upgraded Federal Universities listed   below.
• Applicants must have scored a minimum CGPA of 3.0 on scale of 5 or 4.5 on a scale of 7 in their 1st Year.
• Candidates must scan and attach a copy of their  admission letter.
• Applicants admitted into the University through Direct Entry i.e. 200 level must have either of the following:

»Minimum of Upper Credit at the Diploma level
»Minimum of 10 points in interim Joint Matriculation Board (I.J.M.B) examination.
»Minimum of 8 points at the Advanced Level General Certificate of Education (G.C.E).

Required Documents for PTDF Undergraduate Scholarship Application

Candidates are advised to upload the following documents to the application portal in order to complete their application for PTDF Undergraduate Scholarship;

1. Passport which must be in JPG format.
2. Birth Certificate or its equivalent
3. Local Government of Origin Identification Letter
4. WAEC Result
5. Admission Letter

Optional documents include:

1. Year 1 Result
2. Diploma Result
3. O’level result
4. 2nd O’level result (if two sitting)

How to Obtain/Access PTDF Scholarship Scratch Card or Pin

Application Forms can be accessed online at  http://ptdf.esms.cinfores.com/index.php  or through purchase of a scratch card from designated main branches of First Bank of Nigeria Plc in all the 36 States and FCT, upon payment of a NON-REFUNDABLE sum of N1,000 (One Thousand Naira Only). Instructions on how to access the form online is clearly stated on the backside of the cards.

Deadline for Application

All entries must be submitted on or before the stipulated deadline.
