The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has finally released the 2024 JAMB cut off mark for Universities, Polytechnics, Colleges of Education and Innovative Enterprises in Nigeria
This article is tailored for aspirants who want to ascertain if they meet the requirement needed to participate in either the Post UTME or Admission Screening Exercise of their institution of choice or if they have to apply for a change of course/intuition.
JAMB 2024 Cut Off Mark
Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially fixed the cut off mark for admission into all tertiary institutions in Nigeria. The minimum cut off marks suggested by JAMB for admissions into universities, Polytechnic, innovative enterprising institutes and colleges of education are 140, 120, 110 and 100 respectively.

These decisions were taken at the Combined Policy Meetings on Admissions into Tertiary Institutions in Nigeria.
Aspirants should be aware that no serious University will admit candidates with 140 Jamb score and neither will Polytechnics and Colleges of Education admit aspirants who scored 120 or 100. By this standard, JAMB has also given all Universities, Polytechnics, Colleges of Education and Innovative Enterprises the chance to increase their cut-off marks above the one fixed by JAMB.
Note: Candidates/Aspirants who do not meet the cut off mark of their preferred institutions are advised to apply for a change course/institution or to apply for the Basic Studies/JUBEP Programme.
