MTN Nigeria Foundation Science and Technology Scholarship Scheme was established by MTN Nigeria Communications Limited in July 2004 to drive MTN Nigeria’s Corporate Social Investment (CSI) initiatives aimed at improving the quality of lives in communities across the country.

NLNG Undergraduate Scholarship Scheme was founded as a critical component of education intervention programme for it host communities in 1998 and later opened up to the rest of Nigeria in 2003.
The programme has a total of 2,833 undergraduates from various universities in Nigeria who have benefited from the scholarship scheme with a spend of over N600 million.
